At the Awards Gala, we will have dinner, cocktails, and entertainment as we recognize the trailblazers who have made outstanding contributions to preventing gun violence and uplifting their communities and mark 10 years since the founding of Community Justice.
Whether you’ve partnered with Community Justice for years or you’re joining us for the first time, this 10-year milestone is a moment for all of us. A moment to reflect. A moment to celebrate. A moment to deepen our collective knowledge. And a moment to continue the fight to support community organizations, uplift community leaders, and end gun violence nationwide.

Advocacy Summit: The Advocacy Summit will take place on Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21. We will begin at 12:00 pm ET on Monday, April 20, and end at 5:00 pm ET. Following the program, we will host an evening Networking Reception. On Tuesday, the Summit will take place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET.
Awards Gala: Our third annual Justice Ball Awards Gala, celebrating Community Justice’s 10th Anniversary, will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 7:00 pm ET. The gala will honor policymakers and leaders in the CVI field and also recognize Community Justice’s decade-long impact.
Congressional Meetings Day: On Wednesday, April 22, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm ET, Advocacy Summit attendees will have the opportunity to educate congressional offices on the importance of gun violence intervention and prevention programs.

The Summit will include keynote addresses from nationally-recognized prominent leaders and panels on Federal Harms & Overreach and State and Local Advocacy Successes. Attendees will also participate in Advocacy Skills-building breakout sessions focused on Public Speaking, Earning Press Hits, and Legislative Advocacy. Speakers include experts in the CVI field and elected officials who are leading the charge to prevent violence in their communities. Registered participants will receive the full agenda before the event begins.

No. Registration closes on Friday, March 20. Participants must complete the registration form AND pay the registration fee to secure their spot.

Registration costs $200 and will cover all meals and transportation during the Advocacy Summit, as well as admission to the Justice Ball Awards Gala. Once you complete the registration form, be sure to pay the registration fee here.

Community Justice has secured a block of hotel rooms for participants at the rate of $319.00 plus tax per night. The booking link will be shared upon completion of registration.

The registration form will allow you to RSVP individually for the Advocacy Summit, Awards Gala, and Congressional Meetings Day. If you are only interested in attending the Awards Gala, tickets can be purchased separately.

Yes. Limited travel scholarships are available to cover the cost of lodging only. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Email summit@cjactionfund.org to request a travel scholarship after completing the registration process.

For the Advocacy Summit, participants are welcome to wear casual or business casual attire.
For the Awards Gala, cocktail attire is preferred.
For the Congressional Meetings Day, please plan to dress in business attire.

Yes, food will be provided. On Monday, April 20, participants will be provided with lunch, an afternoon snack, and appetizers during the Opening Reception. On Tuesday, April 21, participants will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. At the Awards Gala, participants will be provided with dinner and drinks. On Wednesday, April 22, participants will be provided with breakfast and lunch. If you have any dietary restrictions, please note them on the registration form.
